Day 3 with the Girls

We had snow today and the Internet cafe is a 25 minute walk each way…so this will be short! Our laptop is almost dead. Today was a good day and tomorrow we will begin official filings of the adoption here.  We had great visits with both girls and are very excited to get the girls home.  We told our translater the girls’ new names today.  So sorry, but she is the first to know!  We have lots of stories and much to tell, but that will have to wait till later.  Thank you for your support and encouraging posts.

Much Love,

Brett & Amanda

  9. Though we’re all chomping at the bit to know how things are going, God obviously wants you both to focus your attention on the girls and on getting everything taken care of so you can get them home as soon as possible.

  12. We are all smiling from ear to ear at PSB and you guys are the focus of our conversations! So happy to hear that you had quality time with your precious daughters today! I know how hard it will be to leave them behind this trip. Praying for continued progress of the adoption and your safe return. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

  13. Your hour walk in the snow and cold was worth it for all of us here! I’m sure you need a way to release some excitement and stress, too. One doesn’t truly comprehend love until we see that the more we share, the more we have to give. There is more love waiting in America for them.
